Most of the refrigerants used in refrigeration system are greenhouse gases, which have the potential to destroy the ozone layer. Therefore, it is important and necessary to find a refrigerant with low greenhouse effect. R426A, as a low greenhouse gas, has simple composition and excellent performance, but also has certain hazards. Therefore, studying R426A is both important and necessary. This paper mainly introduces R426A from the aspects of physical properties, environmental characteristics, cooling performance, methods of use and related hazards, and introduces a new type of cooling system based on R426A refrigerant.
